Sens & Saveurs, Tokyo, Japan

2001, the Pourcel brothers and Olivier Château were contacted by Mr. Hiroyuki hiramatsu (of the company Hiramatsu inc. in Tokyo) to organize a collaboration in Japan. This group owns twelve restaurants in Japan and a gastronomic restaurant in Paris, Île Saint-Louis (one Michelin star in 2002).

Two different sensibilities combined to create a new approach of the cuisine, which gives a traditional and true French cuisine in a modern way of presentation.
Sens & Saveurs, located on the 35th floor of the Marunouchi building, facing the Imperial palace was launched last September the 6th. Marunouchi is the new business and shopping area where all the Japanese looking for well known brands and haute couture are to be found.

This place, modern and sophisticated, was made by the architect Imaad Rahmouni, the same who worked on La Compagnie des Comptoirs in Montpellier, Avignon, La Grande-Motte and the Maison blanche in Paris.

The furniture and tableware were created especially to recall the Jardin des Sens spirit in such a refined place.

The carte, elaborated by the Pourcel’s brothers, as well as the menus present Mediterranean savours worked in such a way that they reach now a sensibility able to match the Japanese taste. The medium range price À la carte is 15 000 yen. (n.b. 1 euro = 100 yens)

Courses, mainly made with local products,.appeal customers with menus Sens & Couleurs, Business Menu, Sens & Découverte, Sens & Emotions.
It is a place to be discovered and where emotions are.

The restaurant can welcome up to 120 guests.
Open all year long, every day 11am-2pm and 6pm-10pm.
